I saw Wayne County & The Electric Chairs back in the day and I mean Wayne not Jayne. Pretty hardcore punk audience. Nothing like a Wire or XTC gig. And, to be clear, nothing like an audience for Ru Paul.

I hadn't hear "Trying to Get On The Radio" although I was aware of it. Given his/her most notorious song was "(If You Don't Wanna F**k Me, Baby) F**k Off!!" I'm really really surprised they never made daytime radio.
