After creating several post-punk compilations celebrating the peak years of the late 70s/early 80s, I figured it was time I turned my attention to the modern day. Post-punk began to decline in the mid to late 80s, though you still had the odd band which kept the flag flying. In the 90s, it was more or less dead, until the post-punk revival of the early 2000s, where bands such as Franz Ferdinand, Interpol, Bloc Party and the Arctic Monkeys went on to mainstream success.
This collection is dedicated to the more recent (and mostly undiscovered) bands which brought about a resurgence in the late 2010s. Like most of my genre compilatons, this features bands from all over the world, such as Rakta from Brazil, Wędrowcy~Tułacze~Zbiegi from Poland, and Fews from Sweden. All tracks on this first volume date from the years 2018 to 2020, there'll be a couple more volumes to come in the near future which will include releases from before and after those years.
As usual, info about origin of each track and year released are tagged in the music files and included in the download file. I hope you enjoy this latest compilation, once more thanks for all the positive comments, and keep safe!

Thank you for this! A few of the artists' names sound familiar (mosty from reading The Quietus). The rest will be a treat to discover.
Love these comps, a great introduction to new music (to my ears). Cheers SB.
Thanks jonder and zipper, I appreciate your comments. Also a shout out to Marylyn who is responsible for inspiring me to do this compilation of latter day post-punk. A few of the bands on here, such as Squid, I would never have discovered without her. Cheers!
