Despite the continuing pandemic, 2021 has been a very good year for new music, maybe even better than last year. This will be the first in maybe three volumes, making up a "shortlist" of my favourite releases this past year took quite some time! I could have made a mix from all 95(!) tracks I shortlisted, but instead I'll break it down so that each volume has 25 tracks each. As usual many different genres of music are included, though unsurprisingly psychedelia features the most. Note: take the cover art however you wish, it can be read 2 ways depending on your views. I've had my 3 jabs this year so that's all I'll be saying on the subject!
